Mississippi Hunting Dog Association’s educational programs are designed to inform and empower our members. Learn about responsible hunting practices, dog training techniques, and the historical significance of hunting with dogs. Our commitment to Mississippi education ensures our members are well-equipped with the knowledge they need to uphold our traditions.

Mississippi Code § 69-29-15 is a statute that makes it illegal to remove a collar, tag, or marking device from an animal without the owner's permission. 

Mississippi Code § 97-41-16 states that any person who shall maliciously kill, main, or injure any dog or cause any person to do the same, shall be fined up to $1000 or imprisoned up to 6 months.
